Danelle is a manager in Sisterson’s tax practice and joined the firm in 2019. Prior to joining Sisterson, Danelle spent 10 years with one of the Big Four firms focused primarily on the fiduciary tax services industry. Her experience includes tax return preparation and review of trusts, foundations, and estates. She has managed several million RIC, REIT, WHFIT, etc. transaction reporting across large engagements. She has had exposure to foreign taxation issues including FX contracts, NRA reporting, foreign partnerships, disregarded entities, and Israeli and French international filings.
Danelle was heavily involved in the digital transformation of her previous firm. She has extensive experience dealing with big data review, manipulation, and automation. Danelle has created data analytics workflows, BOTs, visualizations, and other automations to create efficiency and accuracy. She has experience in SQL and Python coding languages and has studied under the Udacity curriculum focused on Python, data analytics, and artificial intelligence. She has taught data analytics academies to over 350 Assurance, Advisory, and Taxation professionals across the country.
Danelle also has vast experience in firm culture. She was an active member of her firm’s women’s inclusion, diversity, wellness, professional development, and community initiatives. She participated in Junior Achievement, HOBY Youth Leadership Seminars, Urban Impact, Leadership Pittsburgh Inc.’s Big Table, and Project Belize where she taught financial literacy and entrepreneurship to elementary students in Belize City. She is active within her church’s youth services and Peruvian missions.
Danelle remains an active member of the Pittsburgh volleyball community as both a coach and player and enjoys traveling and live music.
